Gucci cocktail? It’s now a reality as the fashion house is introducing Elisir d’Elicriso, a collectible pre-mixed cocktail developed by mixology maestro Giorgio Bargiani for Florence’s Gucci Giardino 25 café and cocktail bar.
The Elisir d’Elicriso has been launched in the UK, and was first presented in Italy last summer to celebrate the newly opened bar in Florence, the Spirits Business reports.
An esteemed Italian bartender who’s been working at London’s hip Connaught Bar as assistant director of mixology for eight years, Bargiani created a signature blend that is all about evoking personal memories, revering the Tuscan region and telegraphing the values embedded in Gucci’s 100-year-plus history.
Bargiani commented: “This collaboration has been an absolute delight and honour. Blending my ever-evolving heritage and passion with the dedication and excellence of the team at Gucci Giardino 25 has allowed us to create something new and visionary in the world of hospitality.
The 21%-ABV cocktail is made with Tanqueray No.10 gin, 1757 Vermouth di Torino extra dry, Podere Santa Bianca Liquore No.4, Muyu vetiver gris liqueur, white balsamic vinegar, Podere Santa Bianca Elicriso essential oil, and Guidalberto Tenuta San Guido.
